What Do They Do For Fun Around Here??

In case you were wondering what Floridians do for fun...

That's right! They hook up a slide to the back of a pick-up truck and let their kids have at it.

Grace looks on wondering, "This doesn't look like Mini-Masters..."

But when you're in Rome...

We're Here!!

Will You Be My Valentine?

More Happy Birthday Pics

So I decided to prepare a special Happy Birthday dinner for my girl...

That's right - organic chicken breast (side of ketchup) and homemade mac-n-cheese...The verdict?

Not bad, mommy...

And what birthday dinner is complete with out an Entemann's celebration cake and last year's candle?

How we spent the rest of Grace's birthday...

Grace invited her good friend Nika back to the Children's Museum of the Arts. Nika was feeling under the weather and missed the party, so we did a re-do with her and her mommy. Thanks for spending Grace's birthday with us Chani & Nika! It was a great day!

GAP = TWO

Well, she finally did it. On Wednesday (Day III, for those of you keeping track), Grace turned two. It is so unbelievable to me that my tiny baby is now lumped, not in the baby category, or even the toddler category, but, according to some sources (baby center, to be exact), the "pre-schooler" category. Ugh. Tooooo fast.

So, how did we decide to celebrate this momentous occasion?

First, with Dora, of course...Dora wrapping paper that is...

Here she is, the expert unwrapper herself, opening up a b-day present from Mommy and Daddy (Phonics Dragonfly - to prepare her for those pre-school days)...

And here she is eating her big, b-day breakfast...

What, you ask, is good-ole Grace having for breakfast on her second birthday?
Why pancakes and strawberries...

They were supposed to be special "Mickey Mouse pancakes" - some co-workers (you know who you are) told me that these were easy breezy to make...see for yourself how I did with this task...

Pathetic, I know. Anyway, Happy Birthday my beautiful girl. You are unbelievable!
