How to Have a Perfect Vacation...

Head to the Beach (the Outer Banks to be precise)...

Bring along your best friend...

Who will share his sand toys (and his dog Oscar above)...

Bring along your best friend's amazing parents...

And his adorable baby sister...

Better bring someone who will carry your buckets of water, too...

Of course, get a house right on the Beach...

With amazing views...

Then spend lots of time digging in the sand...

And in the hot tub...

And then have your Daddy teach you how to Body Surf!!

Now that is how you have a PERFECT vacation!! Thanks Jeff, Sadaf, Jordan & Mina for a terrific 7 days. We miss you guys already. Love you buddy!! See you soon goat cheese!

OMM Day Care!

While Mommy and Daddy took on the city, Mommy's OMM friends tackled the baby-watching. Chad led up the team of sitters who tag-teamed their way to a successful couple of hours.

Chad started off pretty lucky with a sleeping baby...

Although he does not have kiddies of his own (yet!), Chad already knows the value of a sleeping baby...

Especially when you're trying to get work done...

Now that Grace is awake, it's time to bring in reinforcements! Here's Ben's mommy, Ahn, doing the mommy thing with Grace while they watch a Baby Crack video...

Although there is no picture proof, we know that Steph and Jeff (Jordan's Daddy) helped, too! Thanks guys, for making it possible for us to get Grace the speech therapy she needs so that she may thank you herself one day (soon!). And thanks B, for being the bravest, most articulate Daddy I know and negotiating our way to the best plan we didn't even hope for, for our girl. You did it!

And for those of you keeping track, Grace now regularly says: row, up, down, off and more. And this morning - she looked at me and said "Mama" and smiled. Best day.
