Our threesome has become a Quartet

That is what Grace said upon the birth of her baby brother. And thus, the birth of a new blog entitled "The Perkins Quartet" to update our friends and family about our life and adventures.

South Seas Vacation with the Trimarchis - aka last hoorah before Baby Boy Perkins

Given that I am 8 months pregnant and unable to travel, the Trimarchis were kind enough to meet up with us locally for a little R&R and some fun in the sunshine state. Our choice of destination: the beautiful South Seas Island Resort on Captiva where we...

...dined al fresco...

...made full use of the pools, sprinklers and water slides...

...took long walks on the beaches...

...entertained ourselves on the balcony during afternoon showers...

...practiced our yogo and gymnastics...

...hit the candy store...

...made sand castles...

...sun bathed by the pool while the kids were in camp exploding volcanoes on the beach (one of the highlights of Grace's vacation)...

...and otherwise gave into vacation gluttony (this is a picture of Brandon's ideal breakfast courtesy of Tween Waters Inn)...

...and Mom's incessant need to document the trip...

These guys are fabulous vacation partners and great friends. It is so nice to know that anytime we get together it is sure to be a blast. We miss them already...
